Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 30, 2026
Tadpole Tales LLC (“Tadpole Tales Art,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates www.tadpoletalesart.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our site or placing an order, you agree to the practices described here.
What we collect
When you create an account, we collect your email and password, or, if you sign in with Google, your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account.
To create a print, you upload your child's drawings or photos. You'll also provide a shipping address so we can deliver your order. Payment information is handled entirely by our payment processor, Stripe — we never see or store your card number.
Like most websites, we automatically collect some technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser type, the pages you view, and how you interact with the site. We also record which ad or link brought you here, if any, so we can understand which marketing is working.
How we use it
The information you share is used to generate, preview, print, and ship your order, manage your account, send you transactional emails like order confirmations and shipping updates, and improve the product over time. We may also send occasional marketing emails — about your draft prints, offers, or product updates — which you can opt out of at any time using the unsubscribe link in any such email or from your account settings.
We also use aggregate, anonymized data about how people use the site to understand what's working and fix what isn't.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the business: companies that handle hosting and authentication, payments, email delivery, cloud storage, print fulfillment, and the AI tools used to generate your collage. Each of those providers has their own privacy and security practices, and we only share what they need to do their job.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
Advertising & analytics
We use a small number of advertising and analytics tools to measure how our marketing performs and to understand how people use the site. These tools may set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser and receive technical information about your visit, such as the pages you view and the device and browser you're using — they do not receive your uploaded drawings, photos, or the contents of your account.
We use Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google advertising pixels/tags to measure whether someone who clicked an ad later signed up or placed an order. We use AppLovinfor the same purpose on the ad networks it serves. This is standard advertising measurement; you can opt out of it through each platform's own ad preference settings — for example Meta's ad preferences and Google's ad settings.
We also use Microsoft Clarity, a behavioral analytics tool that records anonymized session replays and heatmaps (clicks, scrolling, and mouse movement) so we can see where visitors get stuck and improve the site. Clarity is configured to mask sensitive form fields and does not capture the images you upload. You can read more about how Clarity handles data in Microsoft's Privacy Statement.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies to keep you signed in, remember your anonymous visitor ID across sessions, and track which ad or link brought you to the site. The advertising and analytics tools described above also set their own cookies when you visit. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though doing so may affect your ability to sign in or use certain features.
Your family's drawings and photos
The drawings and photos you upload are used for one purpose: creating your print. They are stored securely and are never publicly accessible, shared with advertisers, or used to train AI models.
If a draft print sits untouched for about 14 days without being purchased, we automatically delete the uploaded images and any in-progress AI versions tied to it. Once you purchase a print, we keep the final print file and your original uploads so you can reorder it later, and remove the in-between edit versions; after your order is confirmed shipped, those retained files are moved to lower-cost storage. You can ask us to delete your images sooner at any time — see Your choices below.
Children's privacy
Tadpole Tales Art is designed for adults — parents, grandparents, and gift-givers. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from anyone under 13. The images and details you upload about a child are provided by you, as the adult account holder, and are used solely to create and fulfill your order. By uploading an image of a child, you're confirming you are that child's parent or legal guardian, or that you otherwise have permission to upload and use that image for this purpose.
If you believe a child has created an account or uploaded images without appropriate parental consent, please contact us and we will delete the account and associated images promptly.
Your choices
You can view and update your account information at any time from your account settings. Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link that opts you out immediately. To request deletion of your account, your images, or other data associated with it, email us at hello@tadpoletalesart.com. California residents may also request a summary of the personal information we hold about them, or ask us not to share it with advertising partners, using the same email address with “Privacy Request” in the subject line — we'll respond within 45 days.
Security
We use encrypted connections, private cloud storage, and role-based access controls to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable precautions and will notify you if a breach affects your personal information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy occasionally. When we do, we'll revise the date at the top and, for material changes, notify you by email or with a notice on the site. Continuing to use Tadpole Tales Art after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.
Questions
If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your data, reach us at hello@tadpoletalesart.com.
